Just when you think picking the right dryer model is hard, you also have to choose between DryGuy vs MaxxDry dryers. I even used to mix them up before I got to know both a little better.
Both companies make fantastic dryers, that help you keep your feet warm any time you need them.
Either one of them will serve you well and you won’t have to worry about getting your feet wet all the time.
So, what are the main differences between these two? I’ll talk more about both of them below, putting most of the focus on their flagship models.
DryGuy Force Dry DX Dryer
It was hard to make a definite choice, but this is probably the best model that DryGuy has to offer.
It’s the only DryGuy dryer that has 4 drying ports that can dry 2 pairs of boots at once.
By using forced air technology they will dry your wet bots in 1-3 hours. Two of them come with 16” extension tubes so you can dry taller boots too.
The Force Dry DX works safely and silently, heating up to 105 degrees F and even offering the option to blow the air without the heat.
When it comes to controls, besides the heat toggle, you can also adjust the temperature and set the timer up to 3 hours.
You can program the timer and leave the dryer to do the job on its own. The price is fair too and you get a warranty, just like with all DryGuy dryers.
MaxxDry Heavy Duty Dryer
Even though DryGuy vs MaxxDry’s best models looks almost the same, there are some slight differences in their functions.
MaxxDry Heavy Duty Boot Dryer also has four ports that help you dry 2 pairs of boots at a time and they come with two 16” extensions too for high boots.
The first difference is that MaxxDry dryers tend to be more affordable than DryGuy.
The drying time of MaxxDry s also somewhere around one hour mark, thanks to the 105 degrees F hot air. Controls are quite similar too.
There’s a heat toggle, and you can set up the timer for up to 180 minutes in case you want to leave the dryer working on its own.
The great thing about both of these dryers is that they are highly customizable too.
